Eswatini Qualifications Framework (ESQF) being referenced to the African Continental Qualifications Framework (ACQF)

The Eswatini Qualifications Authority is in the process of referencing the Eswatini Qualifications Framework to the African Continental Qualifications Framework. The activity commenced in September 2024 and a National Referencing Committee is already in place and working. The Committee comprises representatives from all EQA stakeholders such as government ministries, quality assurance bodies, professional bodies, workers and student unions, higher education and TVET institutions.
The Eswatini Qualifications Authority established a National Referencing Committee to carry out the responsibility of referencing the Eswatini Qualifications Framework to the African Continental Qualifications Framework . The committee had a meeting on the 31st October 2024, at the Eswatini College of Technology where the following were discussed: 1. The ESQF and ACQF 2. The concept of alignment 3.
