The Eswatini Qualifications Authority (EQA) was established through a Cabinet decision following presentation of the Eswatini Qualifications Authority Bill of 2014.
It operates as a section within the Ministry of Education and Training. The Qualifications Authority Bill has since been reviewed and is currently in the process of being enacted as an Act of Parliament.
